About us
K.D.A. Weerasinghe & Co. Pvt Ltd (KDAW) is a specialist roads, highways, water supply, airport and irrigation contractor holding the highest national status for construction in Sri Lanka.
Established in 1991, the company has successfully delivered over 250 multidisciplinary projects summing to over 3000km of roads and highways, 1,800km of pipe laying and over 40 Bridges across the Country.
Being an ISO Certified Company, our operations are conducted in Compliance to ISO 9001–Quality Management Systems (QMS) as well as ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) & ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS).

Work on Central Expressway Section 3 continues smoothly
KDAW was awarded work on section 3 of the Central Expressway (CEP/RDA/CEP-3/Pack1D) in December 2021. The project was halted for 2 years before resuming in December 2023. KDAW hopes to complete and hand over the project within its original project...
Works ongoing in 3 bridges in Cambodia
KDAW reports steady progress on construction of 03 bridges in Cambodia in the Luek Dek District, Neak Leoung District and the Batha Chi District in the Kandal province. The projects commenced in April 2023 and is due for handing over in August 2024 & June 2025.
National Award for Construction Performance 2019
The successful completion of the Vavuniya Surface Water Dam earned KDAW another National Performance award at the National Construction Awards 2019.
